Home vs. Mountain View

After digging themselves out of an early 13-0 deficit, the Sabers (1-5, 0-0) were unable to finish the job on Monday night at home, falling to the Mountain View Eagles by the score of 57-42.  Within 2 points multiple times in the 2nd and 3rd quarters, a 9-0 run by the Eagles in the 3rd quarter put the game out of reach.

Tyler Williams' 21 points led the team, while Mason Deakin handed out a team high 6 assists to go with his 5 points and 5 rebounds.  Fellow freshman Bryce Baldwin scored 9 points and Eric Lee pulled down a team high 7 rebounds.

The JV Sabers were victim to a three point dagger at the buzzer in a 32-29 loss in their contest.  Alex McHugh, who scored a team high 9 points, hit a long two point field goal to tie the game at 29 with under 10 seconds to play.

The Sabers are off until December 28th when they host the Susquehanna County Christmas Tournament.  First round action is against the Blue Ridge Raiders at 7:30 PM.
