The Susquehanna Boys Basketball team earned a split with the Forest City Foresters on Wednesday at Forest City. The JV Team was in a close ball game until late in the 4th, when Forest City converted some free throws to earn a 37-27 victory. Austin Felter led the Sabers with 7 points while Cody Towers added 5.
In the nightcap, the varsity team earned a 52-33 victory, to improve to 3-2, 1-0 on the season. Andrzej Tomczyk scored a career high 36 points and added 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals. Mark Zappe contributed 6 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks.
The Sabers are off until Tuesday, December 27th when they host Elk Lake as part of the Susquehanna County Christmas Tournament. Game time is set for 7:30 PM.
