Away vs. Wyoming Seminary

The Sabers dropped a pair of games on Wednesday night in Kingston at the hands of Wyoming Seminary.  The JV team fell short by the score of 41-27 and the varsity team could not rescue themselves from an early deficit, eventually losing by the score of 54-39.

After falling behind 19-3, the Sabers (1-3, 0-0) were able to battle to within 8 points early in the fourth quarter.  Tyler Williams led the Sabers with 15 points and tied Luke Falletta for the team lead with 7 total rebounds.  Brady Towner tallied 6 rebounds while leading the team with 3 assists and Garret Grausgruber provided a scoring punch in the second quarter with back to back jumpshots and finished with 5 points.

The JV Sabers faced a similar deficit before finding somewhat of an offensive rhythym in the second half.  Brock Blodgett scored 7 points to lead the team.

The Sabers will travel to the University of Scranton on Saturday where they will face off against ES-Notre Dame.  JV game time is set for 12:00 noon.
