Susquehanna vs. Mountain View

The Sabers JV and Varsity boys basketball teams dropped a pair of decisions to the Mountain View Eagles on Friday night at Mountain View High School.

Mark Zappe's 12 points and 13 rebounds, to go along with fellow big man Christian Miller's 10 points and 13 rebounds, were not enough to offset a tough shooting night by the Sabers (4-6, 1-2) as they fell to the Eagles 50-36.  Luke Falletta also registered double figures for the Sabers, scoring 11 points to go with 4 rebounds and assists.

The JV team found themselves in a hole at halftime, but played a courageous second half before falling to the Eagles 50-40.  Brady Towner led three Sabers in double figures with 13 points, while Tyler Williams added 11 points and Jack Avery scored 10 points.

The Sabers travel to Montrose tomorrow afternoon to take on the Meteors.  JV Game time is set for 4:00 PM with varsity to follow.
