Home vs. Mountain View

Alex McHugh scored 6 points and Bryce Baldwin and CJ Stone each scored 5 points as the JV team finished the season with their second win, 23-19 over the visiting Mountain View Eagles on Thursday night.  The defense led the way, limiting Mt. View to a total of 10 points through the first 3 quarters.

Adam Rockwell scored 14 points and pulled down a team-high 9 rebounds, Mason Deakin scored 14 points and handed out a team-high 6 assists and Bryce Baldwin added a career-high 12 points to go with 3 blocks in the Sabers 65-48 loss in the nightcap.  Seniors Ben Kane and Sean Branning, both playing in their final home games for the Sabers, each recorded a basket on Senior Night.

The Sabers now await the announcement of the time and location of their playoff game on Tuesday night against MMI Prep.

Away vs. Blue Ridge

Mason Deakin scored a team-high 11 points and Garret Grausgruber hit two three-pointers for his 6 points at Blue Ridge on Tuesday night to lead the Sabers in their defeat at the hands of the Blue Ridge Raiders.  Adam Rockwell led the team with 8 rebounds.

CJ Stone, Alex McHugh and Jarrett Dininny each scored 6 points in the JV Sabers 40-27 defeat.

The Sabers will play host to the Mountain View Eagles on Thursday night at 6:00 PM.

Home vs. Montrose

Adam Rockwell scored 10 points, Mason Deakin added 9 and CJ Stone tallied 6 points on Friday night in the Sabers 70-41 loss to the Montrose Meteors.  Eric Lee led the team with 7 rebounds, while Rockwell pulled down six and handed out a team-high 3 assists.

Bryce Baldwin scored 8 points for the JV Sabers in their 55-23 defeat.

The Sabers will travel to Blue Ridge on Tuesday night to take on the Raiders.  JV game time is set for 5:30.

Away vs. Elk Lake

Mason Deakin posted a career-high 21 points, Garret Grausgruber added 10 points and Sean Branning recorded his first 4 varsity points, but the Sabers (1-18, 0-9) fell to the Elk Lake Warriors on the road on Tuesday night, 78-45.  Adam Rockwell led the team with 5 rebounds and 4 assists.

CJ Stone and Alex McHugh each scored 14 points in the JV contest, but the Sabers were outscored 12-0 in the last three minutes, eventually falling 46-34.

The Sabers will play host to the Montrose Meteors on Friday night.  JV game time is 6:00 PM.
