Anthony Dolfini scored 9 points to lead the JV Sabers in their 46-37 defeat.
The Sabers will host the Carbondale Chargers on Saturday afternoon. JV start time is set for 2:00 PM.

Home vs. Forest City
Garret Grausgruber scored a career-high 15 points and Mason Deakin added 10 points and a team-high 6 assists for the Sabers on Tuesday night against Forest City. Their efforts were not enough however, as the Sabers (1-15, 0-6) suffered a 78-53 loss to open the second half of Division IV play in the Lackawanna League.
CJ Stone added 9 points and Eric Lee a team-high 7 rebounds.
Stone also scored 9 points in the JV team's 36-23 loss.

Away vs. Mountain View
Mason Deakin tallied 13 points and handed out a team high-high 3 assists in the Sabers 74-40 defeat on Thursday night at Mountain View. The Sabers ended the first half of Lackawanna League Division IV play winless, and saw their record fall to 1-14 overall. Garret Grausgruber contributed 7 points and Eric Lee pulled down 6 rebounds.
Alex McHugh scored 8 points, but the JV Sabers were outscored 10-2 in the 4th quarter, eventually falling 32-25 in their contest.

Home vs. Blue Ridge
Adam Rockwell scored a career-high 15 points, including three 3-pointers, and also handed out 6 assists on Tuesday night, but the Sabers (1-13, 0-5) were not able to pull out a victory over the visiting Blue Ridge Raiders. Eric Lee also tallied double digit points with 11, and led the team along with David Armitage in rebounding with 7 apiece. Lee also collected 4 steals, while Mason Deakin swiped three.
Bryce Baldwin scored 9 points, to go along with the 7 points he scored that led the JV team in their 34-22 loss earlier in the evening.

Home vs. Elk Lake
Garret Grausgruber and Eric Lee each scored 6 points, while Lee pulled down 7 rebounds to lead the Sabers on Tuesday night in their 61-37 defeat at the hands of the Elk Lake Warriors. With the loss, the Sabers record falls to 1-11, 0-3 on the season.

Away vs. Carbondale
Tyler Williams scored 17 pulled and recorded a team-high 6 rebounds, and fellow junior Garret Grausgruber scored a season high 10 points for the Sabers (1-10, 0-2) on Friday night as they dropped a crossover loss to the Carbondale Chargers 68-40.

Freshmen Mason Deakin scored 15 points and recorded 6 steals on Tuesday night to lead the Sabers in their 44-36 loss to the Lackawanna Trail Lions. With the loss, the Sabers record fell to 1-9, 0-2 on the season. Junior Tyler Williams added 10 points and 14 rebounds, Eric Lee scored 5 points and pulled down 6 rebounds and Bryce Baldwin tallied 6 points.
Adam Rockwell and David Armitage scored 9 points a piece, but neither was enough to lead the JV Sabers to a win in their 42-37 loss. Travis Craig and Alex McHugh each added 6 points each to the effort.

Away vs. Forest City
The Sabers opened up Lackawanna League Division IV play on Saturday, January 2nd with two losses at the hands of the Forest City Foresters. The varsity dropped a resounding 67-34 defeat, while the JV Sabers were handed a 48-23 loss.
Seniors Tyler Williams and Garret Grausgruber combined for half of the 34 points scored by the Sabers (1-8, 0-1) , including four three-point field goals, to lead the team. Adam Rockwell contributed 6 points and 4 assists off the bench.
Rockwell also tallied 6 points in the JV contest, while CJ Stone went 5-6 at the FT line for his 5 points in his season debut.
